I had a total proctocolectomy 1.5 years ago (entire colon and rectum out) because of Crohn's so if you have any questions or just want support feel free to message me.
Have you made any progress today, Samina?
I'll reply to your message in a little while
Hi Pulisa,
We’ve left a message for the secretary of one of the contacts I was given. My husband also called the doctor who did the colonoscopy who said he’d try and speed up the process. (I don’t know how or why but it would be good if he can...).
I’m slowly getting my appetite back. The morning is the worst. But as the day goes on I feel better. People keep telling me it could still be benign (like my bladder) and I want to believe that but I’m scared to focus on that... although it’s tempting to to keep”positive “... wish my mind wasn’t so active lol
Thanks for checking in on me xx

Sure thing Caper, thank you xx
The fact is that you don't know yet. You have been prepared for bad news but that isn't confirmed. I do hope you don't have to wait for 20 days or so.
You've got some contacts and it's good that you are exploring these options. Keeping busy and occupied will help the days pass xx
Trigger warning.........
Ok so diagnosis was confirmed today. I’m glad I don’t have to wait anymore but obviously scarecabout what lies ahead. I now need a ct scan before we can plan when to do the operation.
Xxxx
Hi Samina
I have been following the updates on here and I am so sorry to hear that things are not good. As I have said in our exchange of PM's we are all here for you and if you need anything please just ask.
