Good job you had that blood work done then. No doubt the red flags have already been raised and you have received the bad news from your doctor due to the urgency of things? What did he advise?

My GP clinic is not open on the weekend. I won't hear anything until tomorrow at the earliest.

I had bloodwork drawn on Thursday. They don't get it back by Friday - meaning I likely get the results on Monday. That is very typical here in the US... I don't know about the UK.

This level of HA is such a 'selfish state', don't know why it continues to astound me, but it still does. Me, me, me, me. Darkside what do you know about ANY of us replying ? Are you aware of our personal issues? Are you aware of anything but yourself?

Jeez, you are only sleeping 8 hours a night, thats how long you are meant to sleep. I feel exhausted on less than that, and I always get less than that as have insomnia half the time. I bet there isn't one person here who hasn't felt weeks of exhaustion, it happens, its life. I honestly have no idea why I'm even replying, its become a kind of guilty pleasure or something. (except not a pleasure)

Anything urgent gets immediately flagged up especially if the bloods are marked as urgent which presumably yours were due to the severity of your fatigue.

I have been contacted out of hours and at weekends.

Not true. In the US, I have had bloods draw on a Friday and had results same day. If it was serious, they would have called you.

Like pulisa said, anything urgent in your bloodwork would immediately get flagged, and the doctor would be notified. Even though they may be "closed" on weekends, doctor's are still on call just in case anything concerning comes up with one of their patients. They wouldn't wait until after a weekend to give you that sort of news. No way. EVER.

Same here... Look, you know it, I know it, we all know it. This is futile. Darkside is very ill. Just let him be ill and move on or this will reach 200 pages
