Time for you to do some work here. This is what you always say about every single thing - 'I don't know what else it could be except.....X cancer' This is quite extraordinary as there are 1000 things it could and will be before a brain tumour.

So, you tell us, what other reasons could there be for a headache that comes and goes ?

Sadly the headaches continue today. It's been 3 weeks since all of this started. I have a brain tumor. I know it. It's obvious. What's worse is that since I read closing your eyes and touching your nose can test to help diagnose neurological problems such as brain tumors, I've been doing it constantly... like 100 times a day. The problem is sometimes I don't hit my nose dead center. I'll be a few millimeters off to the left of right sometimes. Sometimes I hit it dead center. It's become an obsession and I'm doing it all the time. Since I'm sometimes a little off center I'm worried that is indicating I have a brain tumor. I have done this test before over the years and always hit dead center on my nose.

Perhaps one day you'll hit your ear instead of nose when asked to do this test by a doc - and then you really would have genuine cause for concern.

Sadly can't help but agree. I was tempted to try to point out non cancer reasons for headaches (TMJ issues, parenthood, stress, etc), but I see it will fall of deaf ears again.

Most of us are guilty of letting the thoughts run away at times, myself included... but this feels like it is reaching a completely different level

Yep, probably, but don't worry about it too much as you'll make a full recovery from it just like the one you had a couple of years ago (and miraculously without treatment of any sort).

Totally, its pointless, we will say all the reasons and other things it could be AGAIN, and it'll make no difference AT ALL as Darkside won't believe them, won't do anything to rationalise the things we say. No point wasting your time.

Well since it’s cancer, better go get your will ready and plan for your funeral. Those of us whom have lost people to cancer find you a disgrace.

Ok folks If we don't like the post then move away from it, leave darkside's threads and totally ignore them......

To put it bluntly it is YOU who reply that keep the posts going and making the thread 61 pages long.

We can't make anyone stop posting (unless the member has been asked to stop replying by the OP and the chose to ignore that), that is not what NMP is about, What we can do is choose whose posts we actually reply to..... the ones who we get satisfaction from, knowing we are going to help them and maybe even make their day by replying to them

Again putting it bluntly, those who REALLY need help but are getting ignored because people are too busy replying to threads where they know they are not going to get replies... come on, imagine how they feel seeing threads like this getting replies and those getting none at all!! ... those whose problems which are just as great even moreso.

To those replying to this thread I ask you.... Why do you post on here when you clearly aren't getting listened to?? what is the point in you doing that?? is it to cause arguments and controvesy?

We as admins can quite clearly see these threads being carried on by the people who reply and NOT the OP , yes they will reply to their post but how long would the thread last if no one replied and they chose to reply to threads where people get no replies??

So please we ask you again........step away STOP REPLYING..... STOP KEEPING THE THREADS GOING..

People call the serial posters 'trolls' ..... we like to give anyone the benefit of the doubt on here as mental health problems come in all shapes and sizes. but again I ask members this.... If you think that then why reply?? why would you feed a 'troll' when you know that is what they feed on??

Yes this post may raise a few eyebrows BUT I am hoping it causes a few people to take a look at themselves and be honest with themselves....
