Can anyone help a technophobe post a YouTube video?
Simple instructions please. I'm about as "techno minded" as a wheelie bin...

A thought is harmless unless we believe it.
Thank you Scissel and well done on the 7 years of sobriety! I’ve agreed with the drug and alcohol service to try dry January which I should be ok with. Handing my tranquillisers over to someone is a sensible idea but I can’t do it.
Hi Nora, I’m using an iPad. In the YouTube app, under every video there should be an arrow followed by ‘share’. I press on that and then a few more options come up, I press on ‘copy link’. Then back on No More Panic, when making a post, there’s a movie reel icon. I click on that and another window opens, click on the empty text box and select ‘paste’, and finally ok. I hope this helps

Thanks Bowed Knees.
Hi Scissel, my music taste is eclectic. (to say the least)
But Ill start off with one of my favourite artists and a song that has more meaning to me than I could ever fully express...
I got into Gerry Rafferty in the late 70s when my dad bought the albums City to City and Night Owl. (I owe my love of music to my parents who had an enormous record collection)
The Right Moment is about waiting for that "perfect" moment in order to change our lives. We understand that we can improve our situation, but delay doing so until "another day" when we feel better or healthier or whatever else excuse we give ourselves. The days turns into weeks, then months and years. It's a song about coasting through life and all those missed opportunities...
First, I loved Gerry's music. Later, I learned about the man behind the lyrics. Rafferty was a misfit, an outsider, and ultimately an alcoholic. But I also think he may have been autistic. He wrote about alienation a lot, and I think most autistics will resonate with that vibe because we are all outsiders trying our best to function in a world that we don't really understand, surrounded by people who don't really understand us.
Ultimately, The Right Moment is one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard...
Stand out lyric "When are you going to reach out, only you can turn your life around".

Antony Partos - animal kingdom
TW drug use.
i did manage to get through dry January.
id had 25 mg Valium and a few shots of rum last night. It felt good but I passed out. I remember thinking that if I’d had heroin, which I don’t have access to, I’d have taken it. That was almost certainly triggered by watching Animal Kingdom ^^ . Brilliant film. I’ve woken up today feeling dazed but not hungover, and in tears. I have to go to work.
Sparklehorse - sea of teeth
