Night sweats

Hi

Have any of you suffered from night sweats as a result of severe anxiety?

I'm very anxious about my health... I'm thinking about it and stressing myself all day long.

My wife says that when I go to sleep my body is all tensed and twitchy....

And then I wake up in the middle of the night all sweaty
Now this makes me really really nervous...

Can someone please answer?

Yes many times, it's one of my main symptoms when my anxiety is bad, of course this would then make my anxiety worse thinking the sweating was down to some type of cancer, but I was always told sweating in your sleep is normal, it's when you wake up drenched, bed sheets and covers drenched to the point you have to change them in the night which could indicate something a bit more serious but even then it doesn't mean it is.

I don't know if I wake up drenched....
Sometimes I would have couple of sweat stains on my shirt or on my bed (If I sleep shirtless).... But it's never like after physical training...

And yes.... it totally freaks me out
