    Ectopics, skips at night

During the day i am pretty fine more or less. But when I sit down in the evening or go to bet I get these very mild skips or pauses. I felt my puls and it realy is a small pause. There is however no heavy thump after it like a normal ectopic would feel for me. It feels like a muscle twitch in a leg basically, just a squeeze.

They happen randomly. Sometimes one and then 2 in a minute or so. Maybe 15 in total or so. I can put my mind of them a bit, but after a while I feel adrenaline and my breathing getting upset.

I had this in the beginning of the year for a month, went to the cardiologist all fine.
Now they are back and they prevent me from falling asleep. That is the worst part.

Also thinkin about sleeping or relaxing is stresfull because they might occur.

They were gone for the last 4 months tho.

Sometimes it feels like I trigger them myself by not wanting them to happen.
I feel my breathing gets mixed up and bang there they are.

Would it be possible to trigger them by thinking about them and or breathing differently?

Anyone any tips on what to do when not getting sleep from them?

    Hey Tom

I get the same feelings when I sleep and even awake at times. Lately they have been bad for some reason and I can get a few a minute.

Two months ago I went to my EP and we did another holter to quantify how many I have been getting and he seems not to worried they happen at night.

He said it was all benign and it is one of those mysteries. If you have had all the tests etc before it is likely just another normal variant or flare up that is happening for you.

    Hope that helps.

    Cheers.

Thanks for your post. It is kind of nice to know I am not alone.

Yesterday I did a 5km run and only had 3 when lying in bed.

And only after 30minutes or so.
I get nervous and cannot get thme out of my head somehow. And then suddenly BOOM.

I really initiate them myself but how is that possible? Heart is not controlable?
