    Floating Stools

Hello, I am 36 years old, I recently started to be afraid of bowel cancer, now reading about floating stools may be a sign of cancer and may be pancreatic cancer. I was worried, my stools always float, I have no other symptoms just float, they are normal color (brown), and I do not see oily at least not that I know, so I read pancreatic cancer would be excess fat in the stool and make it float. Who else here always has floating stools? I have not changed my diet that is unbalanced, like excess meat and dairy. If anyone can help me in this case thanks

Stools can float, they should float, if they lay on the bottom of the toilet it can mean a lack of fiber and water.

When people are talking about floating stools, they mean fatty liquid stools which is impossible to flush down and lay on the water surface like oil. Besides that the stool also need to be white or clay coloured.

    Nothing is wrong with your!

    Poop floats and it sinks
It's different colors and it stinks.
It can be hard or soft like mush
Do your business and just flush!

    Positive thoughts

What about mucus on stool? Is that considered normal? Off and on? Like a couple days without and then back again.
