So I was feeding the dogs earlier and I felt a pain in my finger, after I discovered an indent and I don't know if I have a deep splinter or just an indent but now i'n really worried, I've stopped picking at it bit it still hurts and I can't tell :/

Sorry, but why are you telling us this? Are you asking us for splinter advice (which isn't what this forum is) or do you want advice how to stop running to Internet strangers over nothing?
Alright I take the hint, really sorry for the inconvenience goodbye

Sorry Clydesdale, I was a bit harsh but trying to challenge your anxiety. I was probably too blunt. Coming on Internet forums for reassurance is counterproductive and it's hard to know how to react to these kind of posts. Really happy to do the little I can to help you work through some faulty thinking (and I speak as a certified faulty thinker...), but reacting to every thought your anxiety pops in your head with reassurance is actively harmful. Again sorry for bluntness. I had good intention but my tone was off.
And I'm sorry as well for my little moment it's just really hard sometimes and without reassurance I'll just cry and wait for my death all night :/
