Xanax

I have started Lexapro last week but am using some Xanax to help me get through the first couple of weeks . How much is too much? I DO NOT want to become dependent on it. I take .25 mg every day or every other day depending on my anxiety level.
Can i safely take it for 2-3 weeks at this dose without becoming dependent or addicted?

You can take it 2-3 weeks especially at that low dose, I take benzos intermittently so some weeks I take it 3 or 4 night sometimes I don’t take it at all. I ran out of Xanax, so I either take Valium, Ativan or klonopin. Depending on how I feel and how intense the anxiety is and the situation is. I do have tolerance but they still work on me. You won’t get addicted for 2-3 weeks
