Cough that won't go away

All through October I have this cough, sometimes its tickly, and tickles my throat, sometimes its cgesty and I feel like I'm breathing water. I feel like there's water in my throat and constantly clear it.

I went cycling today, and after clearing mucus from my throat there was a bit of blood there.

Nothing now.

My throat does feel a bit sore now though.

I feel like I got a cold starting, then eases off, then comes again. A mild pressure or feel like a cold in my head, ears and nose. My eyes sometimes feel tired and blurry and air in my left ear.

The cough is annoying, I try hot steam, drinking hot lemon, ginger and honey.

I tried inhaling steam from a boiling water, it makes me cough, but doesn't make it go away.

Going to bed at night, I feel like water in my throat distracting me from trying to sleep.
I ran out of ideas now..

If it helps I have had this all October as well. It was pretty much two colds back to back. It went away, mostly, then came back although not as bad. The problem is the cough came back before it had really gone, must be 5-6 weeks now, and it's only sort of going now. It's the ticklyness that's always there and which is annoying.

It's completely normal, they can last several weeks. Just let it heal.
