    Blood test results panic

    Hi Everyone,
I've long suffered with health anxiety ever since my daughter lost the use of her kidneys at the age of 9. I donated one of my kidneys so only have one, which means I have to have regular kidney check-ups. This time the test has had to be repeated because apparently the blood sample had deteriorated in transit and I'm panicking about the result, because I thought I saw the 'result' of the first test. I'm sitting her literally shaking with fear based on something I think I saw. I won't get the results until next Monday at the earliest and have no idea how I'm going to get through the weekend (I live alone). Can somebody help?

I assume they did a Renal function blood test incl GFR. Look don’t panic, it could be something like you’re serum potassium is a bit low or high ( hyperkalemia and hypokalemia). This can usually be treated easily. If they found something serious on you’re results they would have told you by now
