I'm not sure Terry, but I know my mum use to have peppermints after her evening meal.
I had great success with papaya enzyme after meals or when reflux was hitting.
Well, I am using nexium. But I have a severe, you could say chronic reflux that wont heal and gets worse over the years so I am not sure of that is recommended for you. It works great for me but it is a heavy medicine so you should of course consult a doctor about that of course.

Worked for me in the early years of the reflux too, before it got so worse that nothing else but acid neutralising medicine worked.
Converting to brown bread has made a huge difference to me.
It's rid my bloated feeling, increased my appetite and calmed my stomach down massively.
Just testing one of threads, as having problems.
I'm bumping this thread in hope that members have some tips on relief from burning acid reflux.
I take omperazole.
Thank you pb.
My thread was also relating to foods that can aggravate or help with acid reflux, even drinks.
Any information from members would be help as I know it is a condition which is horrible to live with.
Carnation - Caffeinated drinks are not good. Also raising the top end of your bed helps.
Hope you get some relief, it is horrible.
