War anxiety again...

Yet again I'm worried. Putin is making threats of Martyrdom and talking about Armageddon. I can't take this. Please reassure me it won't happen.

Nobody can assure you it won't happen, because it might, but it probably won't.

This kind of warmongering speak has been happening for centuries.

What you need to do is stop reading/watching the articles that cause you anxiety, because those articles are designed to do EXACTLY that. Leaders provoke fear in order to maintain power. It has always been this way, but you've probably been told this before.

I was stupid and watched a YouTube video which talked about how we're closer to nuclear conflict than we have been in decades. Can somebody say anything to reassure me.

I'm not surprised, if the Doomsday Clock is 2 minutes to midnight! On the other hand, a conflict may not necessarily lead to a full-scale war.

No, in fact I believe them, whatever they said - we are closer to nuclear war than we've ever been. The INF Treaty was what ended the Cold War - now they've torn it up, what chance have we got??
