Of course you will now progress to the muscle spasticity/MS connection so I'll get there before you..
How is the pitted oedema panning out? And the aortic aneurism? Hopefully in remission.

Hi Pulisa, could you answer me a few questiins on it? Understandable if you dont want to.
Did it affect your bowels at all? Stool shape, inability to pass wind, rectal pain etc
Also was it more uncomfortable to sit down? Affectinf tailbone?
Thank you
Bit dissapointed that my GP wont have heard of it, who diagnoses it?
Mr Lurcher, I'm very sorry but I don't want to answer any questions on it because that will just give you further info to mull over and symptoms to develop overnight.
I was diagnosed by a gastroenterologist. All I can say is that your symptoms are way off what mine were.
Mr L. Twice now in consecutive days you've mentioned
"I don't think anxiety can create symptoms"
or
"Anxiety can make things worse but not this bad/not this time, this time is different."
But here's the thing. You keep asking for people with experience in IBS symptoms and what not...but we ALL have experienced sharing those two viewpoints above. Some of us, myself included, many times. The fact is, the viewpoint is incorrect. Anxiety actually CAN cause symptoms, it actually CAN make it that bad this time, etc. We have all proven it wrong over and over and over again as "it" wasn't "x terrible disease" as we were so sure of.
If you don't believe me, just look extensively at other threads here. Or, simply Google for a story about a construction guy who went to the ER/A&E in massive agony after a large nail went through his boot. He was in such pain he had to be sedated. Then the nurses took his boot off and...the nail went between his toes... never punctured his body at all. Our brains can make us believe and literally feel A LOT when it comes to symptoms.

I'm having a serious breakdown this morning.
Didn't sleep much as my stomach felt bloated and kept making noises, feeling trapped wind. This was after taking mebeverine and colpermin. Read about how levator ani has ruined people's lives.
Feeling really panicked, spaced out, sick. Taking a day off work, can't handle the basics at the moment.
Really don't know where to go from here, this is the lowest I have ever felt. Not sure if I should be booked in to a psychiatric ward, that desperate.

Sorry you are feeling so desperate this morning Mr L. Take a deep breath, you will be Ok. You know what they would do on a psychiatric ward? Put you on medication. So why not cut out the middle man? What do you have to lose?
Sorry to hear you are feeling so down Mr L.. i doubt you require a psychiatric ward but your anxiety clearly is having a huge impact on you.
I'm really sorry you're having such a rough time right now.
