    “Completely normal” Echo..still worried 🙄

Had an echo done last week at my cardio, went for results on Wednesday and was given an ecg because my HR was high(ecg was also normal)

I’m still having symptoms(lightheaded, breathless, feeling like I’ll pass out at random times) and finding it just as hard to tell myself I’m fine as before the tests. Cardio seems unconcerned, but still wants me to wear a 7 day holter.

Should I still be worried about the symptoms? I know my heart is structurally normal, she put emphasis on my results being completely normal, but again..as soon as I start feeling faint, it becomes hard to think logically..

You should only be worrying about your anxiety levels, because those are what are making you feel this way. You got the all clear from someone trained to diagnose you. No you just need to stop focusing on those worries and start focusing on how you can conquer the anxiety.

Hi, similarly to you I had an echo recently - which they said was normal however I didn't get ectopic beats or palpitations whilst having it! I am now waiting to have a 7 day holster fitted although it probably wont be until after Christmas now..

I am still worrying as I keep getting these weird feelings in my chest like panicky overwhelming that make me feel weak and I worry its my heart! I keep getting these feelings.. I am seeing the doctor again in a couple of days, I had to come home from work today this isn't good..

Echocardiogram is a Valuable Test in Detecting Multiple different Heart abnormalities, It is especially helpful in detecting Types of Cardiomyopathy where people are asymptomatic Such as in Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy or Right Ventricular Cardiomyopathy. Having a Clear ECG and a Clear Echo is a Reassuring sign of Good Heart health. ECGs are good in detecting Types of Arrythmias such as Atrial Fibrillation, SVT, Torsa de Pointes and so on.. In other words. Relax you’re mind! If there was something wrong with you’re heart it’s extremely likely that something would have come up on the results !
