Hi guys! I just wanted some support from others who have IBS. I assume I'm in the midst of a bad flare up (I've been anxious for months so maybe this is my body showing it?). I pass wind all day every day, weirdly enough except for when I'm at my desk at work. I have stomach cramps and gurgles, abdominal pain, and I feel bloated (although my stomach doesn't look bloated).

It's been like this for at least eight weeks, and my doctor says it's just my IBS. I bought some probiotics this week and I wanted to hear how others had got on with them, or if there are any tips I could try? I tried gluten free for 2 weeks and I think it helped a little too. Are there any other things that make flare ups worse, and is it usual for a flare up to last this long?

I have health anxiety but I know I have IBS so I'm not being irrational about it. I'm just really uncomfortable and embarrassed as I'm only 25 and I feel like this is ruining my life at the moment.
