    Is floating stool a problem?

So I e self diagnosed IBS based on fact that for 10 years I have i consistent BMs. My sister the same. I do take a probiotic. Anyway my “normal” was different this morning. It floated!! I didn’t eat anything that I know for sure irritated my stomach. I had baked potatoe soup from Panera. It was more “ airy” sounding and loose without defined edges. And it floated. I’m trying not to panic but I know I’ve heard floating is not good. Please help.
