    1984 - George Orwell
    Three Men in a Boat - John Steinbeck
    The Alchemist - Paulo Coelho
    To kill a Mockingbird - Harper Lee

    I do really like To kill a Mockingbird, book & film , I find 1984 quite dense to read

    I’m s true crime fan. So my top 5 true crime books of all time.
    1. In Cold Blood by Truman Capote (weird weird guy but he sure could write)
    2. The Onion Field by Joseph Wambaugh
    3.Helter Skelter by Vincent Bugliosi
    4. Blind Faith by Joe McGinniss
    5. Cruel Doubt by Joe McGinnis

    1. Mary Poppins Returns - so like the original format. Loved it
    2. Kinky Boots - feel good film
    3. Sunshine on Leith - great music by the Proclaimers
    4. Elf - good family viewing
    5. ..... hopefully The Favourite - going tonight!

    Top 5 reasons for me to be cheerful

    1. Egg Nog Cocktails
    2. Doctor Who , all 55 years of it ( well this year was a bit meh! but ill still watch it )
    3. Graphic Novels , Love the variety of story telling
    4. Music , Just keeps me going when its black all around
    5. Friends , Again, something that just keeps me going
