    Twitchy eye

    Hello
I suffer bad GAD and I'm a high situation at the moment. I'm on 50mg sertraline and I have my 1st CBT appointment this week.
I have lost my appite and I want to eat but I just feel blah.
I've also noticed my eyelid is twitching alot, has anyone had this before?
This is all new to me and the feeling is very frightening

Eye twitching is a cool side effect. Me and my partner would giggle about it. There's nothing to worry about. A twitchy eye happens to everyone.

You will start to feel better once the sertraline kick in. They do work very well, but you have to endure a few side effects to get there. Rest up and take some time to relax.

So odd, can't help but worry.
Thank you for the reply, quit reassuring that it's normal.
I've only been on sertraline for 2 half week and I just can't wait to feel normal.
I'm currently just sat on my sofa still not dressed, feeling hungry but no energy to eat, just feeling dazed.

They should start taking effect over the next 3 weeks. You will notice days when you have more energy and feel better. You'll have some low days in between. But eventually you'll have mostly good days and when you have bad days you'll be in a better frame of mind to deal with things.

I was the same. I lay in bed reading, watching movies, or gaming. I was in bed for about 3 weeks before I had the energy to get up and do something and spent a lot of the time asleep. The tiredness made reading difficult at times.

I think you're just coming through the worst of it now tbh. It's around the 3 week mark the sun starts to shine through the clouds again.

But what you're going through is all perfectly normal. I promise

    Thanks wired,

I'm just reading threads from other users and just getting ideas and glad I'm not the only person that's going through this.
I just feel so bad as I have 2 young children and if it wasn't for them I'd have no enthusiasm to get out of bed.
How are you coping now, if you don't mind me asking.
