High grade moderate dysk, I'm beyond terrified. I feel numb and sick. What if that was my last Christmas? Will I never see my son grow up?

What is dysk?
CIN2 is not cancer yet though and can be treated so what is the plan?

I'm so sorry, Helen. That's very upsetting. But, like Nicola said, it's not cancer yet and they can treat it. Of course, it's still scary and upsetting, but you have discovered it so no you can take action. What did your doctor say the next step is?
From MacMillan Cancer page
Treatment for abnormal cells such as CIN aims to remove or destroy the small area of cells that are affected. Your doctor will explain your type of treatment and what to expect during and after it.
Treatments that remove the abnormal area include:
large loop excision of the transformation zone (LLETZ)
cone biopsy.
Treatments that destroy the cells in the abnormal area include:
laser therapy
cold coagulation
cryotherapy.
Treatment is usually very successful. You will be asked to have another cervical screening test after about six months to check this. Most people only need treatment once

I wouldn’t panic too much, I have CIN1 which is milk changes and needs no treatment just another smear in one year to check it’s back to normal, I have about 5 friends who have had treatment for CIN2 and above and all of them are fine and not had any additional treatment one of them in like 10 years! I think as much as a lot of the things on the NHs are a mess, smear tests are follow up are good here x
Great advice and options given here (and from the other ladies), depending what your gynecologist (and you) decide.
CIN2 and CIN 3 are not CC but they do need treatment. Many women with these results have gone on to have other children with no issues later on. If you didn't want more children sometimes a hysterectomy is the best option.
I doubt any symptoms you've had are related to the smear result. Let us know the outcome. Take care x

Here is a very good article which describes clearly the CIN results and what they mean. As others have said this isn't cancer, it is why screening takes place so that appropriate treatment can be done - so it never becomes cancer.
