    Long runs of ectopic beats

    hi!

So I experience a few ectopics a day maybe around 30-40 sporadically throughout the day. However I sometimes get long runs of ectopics so it can last an hour or so and the ectopics are very noticeable and far more frequent for example maybe 3-4 per min for the hour or so then it passes. It’s these long runs that really freak me out, then I begin to focus on it which makes it worse. These runs usually occur at night to.

Has anyone else experienced these missed beats for a prolonged period of time?
Any advice on how to ignore them?

    Thanks!

Yup, totally common. I get them most evenings.

As for ignoring them...I don’t know what to tell you. Don’t google it, don’t check your pulse, watch a funny tv show, hug your kids if you have any, and be grateful it’s not anything truly serious.

I have started to look at pvc’s as God reminding me I am alive and to make it count.
