Hi all. I’ve been on the pill for one month and since starting it, I’ve been nothing short of exhausted. I’ve looked online but can’t find a link between fatigue and the pill so of course, my mind is thinking it’s simething sinister going on inside me making me exhausted. I am very sensitive to hormones so hoping it’s just a side effect. Anyone else had this? The only thing I can liken it to is early pregnancy.

When I start new contraceptives I often experience symptoms similar to early pregnancy, I have had times where I was certain that my contraception had failed if I’m honest. If your sure you haven’t gotten pregnant I would definitely have my suspicions about the pill being the cause.

What pill are you on? i've been through a lot of contraceptives and like midnight said, i experienced symptoms like early pregnancy when i started.
it could well be causing it, i know some pills react differently to our bodies and cause us fatigue and acne. you may just benefit from switching to another brand or type x
you could also be fatigued from something else? have you been extra busy lately?
