Anthrax fear!?

Okay, this one's a little unusual... but I was opening some mail today, and there was no powder to be seen, but after reading the mail, something from the paper itself ended up on my hands (white, kind of powdery looking?) and I started panicking it was anthrax... I assume anthrax wouldn't really 'stick' to the paper, it would more just come out when the envelope opens and be much more visible, but my mind is going into overdrive! I'm also from Australia so this seems even more unlikely to me but I'm still panicking...Has anyone had this happen to them with normal mail before?

You have to ask why on earth anyone would send you anthrax before the practical and logistical implausibility of it all.

It could even be talcum powder. Some people put it in parcels to prevent moisture getting at the inside. I've had a few parcels with the stuff pouring out, I thought I had got lucky on a bag of Bolivian marching powder!
