...and its such a new one too isn't it (yes, I've read my wiki article lol), only came into use in 1997, for obvious reasons. I am surprised people mix it up with any other place, its very distinctive and attractive.

Haha xD I have similarly funny stories too :P The other day I thought I was bleeding from my lips because of Lymphoma (yeah right), but it was actually my red lipstick that I forgot to wash off. My mom gives me that "annoyed look" every time I come up with new symptoms. She is the opposite of me and hates the idea of relating anything to serious conditions.
My husband's just the same. His answer for pretty much everything that isn't actually unbearable is "bodies do stuff, quit worrying". It's not a bad way to live, to be honest.
True, as long as there are loving people to help us go through it. I am very new to health anxiety tbh. I have always had terrible anxiety, but it was rarely health related.
But I guess now that has added to my list of worries too 😂
Your husband must be very caring and understanding
He's lovely, but I know it's difficult for him when my anxiety is out of control.
We've both been a lot happier since I started the citalopram.
Sending hugs and hoping you start to feel better soon, too.
I spent a significant amount of time a few weeks ago convincing myself i was anemic, started off looking at the 'moons' on my nails and realising i only have them on my thumbs and then convincing myself they were getting smaller and smaller in front of my eyes. Obsessively checking my inner bottom eyelids where red as apparently not being is another sign.
Now im convinced i have jaundice as i have had a pain in my shoulder and googled that this is from your liver pressing on a nerve. To the point ive been trying to find pictures of my arms and comparing them as im convinced my skin is going yellow.
HA is hard.
