Pregabalin advice anyone ?

Hi everyone

i am new to forum

quick summary is for last 30 years suffered with GAD

GP’s have tried various SSRI and Mirtazapine with varying disastrous effects!

momth ago a psychiatrist recommended I add pregabalin to the existing 10mg of escitalopram I have been on

as per many other posts the initial effect on 50mg was brilliant but over last 3 weeks increasing dose to 150mg twice a day feel like I am going backwards........

has as anyone any experience of how long it might take pregabalin to work ?

(would add no horrendous side affects like the SSRI give)

any my advice would be gratefully received

pregabalin was what I ended up on - have to say it worked a treat
I was on it for about a year, and before this I was climbing the walls

it did make me feel like a zombie at times, but anxiety went which is the main thing
also did CBT at the same time which also helped.

weaned off gradually & not really looked back
