Day 28 or 29 of cycle- no period yet

See a doctor? Noooooooooo, as Blueiris says give it a few months with nothing and then start considering that. I once had 11 months with no period in my 30s, for no valid reason at all lol Periods can come late, early, not happen for a while or come closer together, the hormones involved only have to have subtle changes from - say anxiety - and before you know it everything goes a bit doolally.

Thanks for the advice. Obviously I have anxiety so it probably will have me worrying but stupidly I know I’m not even late yet!
It really has made me feel better to know I’m not alone with these issues and worries! And that you all say I shouldn’t worry for now.

No period yet. Had some very light brown but that’s it. Day 29/30.

Very light brown means blood is light and slow-moving, and taking quite a while to come out and therefore having time to oxidise. Give it a few days, it sounds like 'something' is trying to start.....

It was a small amount but I’m keeping fingers crossed. The more stressed I feel the more I worry it won’t appear 😂

Used a tampon and had a small amount of red on the side but literally no actual bleeding yet.

I’m catastrophising right now and writing this to make sense of my thoughts. Literally never missed a period apart from when I was pregnant 9 years ago. I have a headache now which I usually get before a period but at this point I’m sure it’s a no show. Keep thinking about some sort of tumour being the reason and I’m going to die.
I know it’s ridiculous but that anxiety demon is full force right now. I just feel utterly horrible and premenstral and [i say drippy like I’m very aware of waiting to feel myself come on.

It'll be okay, I promise. My cycles are usually around 30 days, but every now and then they run 33 or 34.

Unfortunately, part of getting older is that clockwork regularity goes out the window - I used to be able to predict mine pretty much to the hour, but now all my PMS symptoms seem to occur more or less at random.

I used to sometimes be 5 days late or 5 days early and any number in between ... all normal

If it is a new abnormal for you, I would get it checked. Still maybe wait a few days and as it isn't that late yet, it is probably nothing, but anything that is new for me, I get checked.
