Sertraline awful side effects help please

Hello well its day 8 of taking sertraline, haven't felt bad bit jittery and headaches until tonight. Ive been having the odd sharp pain in the right breast and all of a sudden the most intense heat spread over my chest head & down my arms its happened about 3 times tonight only lasts seconds. Im praying its a panic attack but i don't have them, could sertraline do this. I'm so scare will end up in a&e at this rate thanks xx

Hi,
When I have that sensation of boiling heat rush through me, it's a start of a panic attack and that's when I start to do my breathing and all calms then I feel shit after. Could be just a blip, still early days for meds to really kick in, you mood should start to lift, leave it a few more weeks and if no change speak to your Dr.

Thanks for replying i think your right it was panic attacks a side effect from starting the meds. Thankfully they have settled so I'm over the worse i hope, now lets hope meds work xx

Hi there missworry, sertraline really worked for my. Helped me recover. But they take ages to kick in. Maybe even 8 weeks. just hang in there.
