Smear test....How long did you wait for results to arrive?

Just thought i would update this incase it helps anyone else, Normal result by post this afternoon, the letter took just over three weeks to get to me. Im in the southeast (Kent).

I must admit i was getting a little twitchy! The nurse who did mine said she thought the wait was around 4 weeks. Logic in me tells me the longer you wait the better, i was telling myself if there was something untowards they were truly concerned about they would contact me asap.

I havnt had my letter yet, but my GP got the results sent over yesterday! Normal!!!!!! Yeeeeeey!
So 4 weeks for my GP to receive them,- longer for me to get the letter.
But she told me they’re taking up to 6 weeks right now
