I blanked out on my own city?! Scared!

I almost forget my daughter's birthday every time someone asks me because I'm so used to saying or writing my own on things. I'm always worried I'll say it wrong! I actually wrote it wrong on a form once and had to cross it out and rewrite, which I'm sure made me look like mom of the year!

I have had a FB since 2008. I was looking through all my old posts from like 2011ish and like, about 15% of them I don't remember/recognize. I am scared!

Like I will say something like "I can't believe so-and-so threatened to throw away my shoes!" and I don't recall the event I am talking about.

Or I will say something like "wow! Got to see some of the Hurricane Sandy concert on MTV and it was great!" and then I will look up a clip on youtube and not recognize the concert at all.

Or some various youtube videos or Google photos that I embed or share onto someone's page and its like i look at it now and I've never seen it before.

I should at least recognize these things shouldn't I?!
