Do you ever feel like you are going to die younger due to this illness?

I don't mean to be negative, but I've been thinking lately that anxiety will literally be the death of me. Not from the anxiety symptoms, but surely being highly anxious person cannot be good for health generally long term.

I know it sounds silly haha, but when we start suffering symptoms and am an anxious person, you start thinking that your life will be shorter because of it.

No, not really. You would think with all the stress hormones almost constantly in our systems, that it ultimately would affect our organs and general health. But I have not found this to be true for my family. Anxiety for me is hereditary on one side of the family and they all lived into old age. I'm no spring chicken and I'm relatively fit and well.
