    Dulcoease- Any experience.

    Hey.
So due to my disability I have always had some degree of constipation. I’ve taken dulcoease spariodically the last few years and it helps. I’ve read you can take it daily as it doesn’t move your actual bowel. I’ve also read you shouldn’t take them daily?

Are they safe to take daily? I am going to ask a dr but I can’t get in til next month so was wondering if anyone has experience of using them. Stool softener isn’t damaging if taken say every other day?

    Ta for any advice

I've been taking Colace since my cancer treatment and that's now almost 6 years. I also do a dose of Miralax in my morning yogurt and fruit. Personally, since my doctors recommended it, I don't concern myself with it to be honest.

Thanks for the advice. Taking it I just feel better in myself so I will mention it to my dr. I know The lax is a bowel stimulus and I hate those I took it once and felt awful with the pain.
Having Cerebral Palsy my colon can be a bit spariodic as it is just another muscle.

Just a quick question. Would daily fybogel help, as it’s just a fibre supplement.

It certainly can help as it's just added fiber but as always, speak with your doctor.
