Sick to the back teeth and feeling tired all over with this government? You’re not alone! But you don’t have to suffer needlessly in silence, relief his at hand. Try New Improved Labour, the panacea for all ills – coming soon to a ballot box near you. Simply put an X in the box marked Cure-All and within weeks everything will be coming up roses and looking fine and dandy*

*Important: Please read the enclosed leaflet:

You must be aged 18 or over, a permanent resident in UK, and have photographic proof of identity to use this treatment.

New Improved Labour is an untried and untested NHS doctor-prescribed alternative medicine which may or may not benefit a large number of its recipients, and no warranty of efficacy is given in this respect. To be taken only on the advice of a doctor. Adverse reactions of using New Improved Labour may include none, some, or all of the following:- In the first few weeks euphoria and mania are common; later (months or years) there may be feelings of confusion, uncertainty, regret, disappointment, disillusionment, anger, rage and despair; these are typical adverse reactions to this class of panacea and not limited to New Improved Labour. In the event of adverse reaction, you cannot stop this course of treatment abruptly and a period of up to five years may be required before other interventions can be used.
Rewind back to 2019 (and the previous 3 years or so prior); most people seemed far more concerned about 'them pesky immigrants' and 'getting Brexit done', and more blasé about our broken NHS and various other austerity-fuelled issues.

And not forgetting swanning off on holidays abroad multiple times per year to far more deserving destinations than 'Broken Britain', especially during election times!

    N.B, said partly in jest!

No idea why people got "offended" over my views in my last thread, since they have never met those people I referred to, but oh well...

This is why I find forums to be kind of pointless. You should be able to just shrug it off. I never grass up other users over their posts, unless they truly are attacking people.

But what's this got to do with 'Today's headlines'?

It happened today, I suppose. But it kind of annoys me. It wasn't like I was bashing women as a whole. I didn't want to make a whole new thread to appeal about the removal of the topic, so this is my only quarrel concerning it. But it's stupid to take away someone's freedom of speech because some people are touchy over me talking about the attitude of escorts, the care industry, how autistic people are cast aside, or whatever it was we were referring to.

    On topic, though.

    Mars apparently has spiders. LOL.

    Hopping On A Bandwagon….

Boffins’ discovery of a kangaroo driven to extinction by a climate crisis (not this current climate crisis applied retrospectively but another one, apparently) 46,000 years ago proves there’s nothing new under the sun.

Abrupt extinction of short-faced kangaroo a reminder to protect the environment, palaeontologists say
[…] constant cooling and drying of the environment, habitat loss, disease, and human practices such as increased fires may have been factors that drove them to extinction.

    https://www.theguardian.com/science/...6000-years-ago

What a discovery, eh? That’s really tied me kangaroo down, sport!

PS: Rumours of spiders found on Mars are utterly unfounded and most likely an attempt to trivialise the seriousness of Today’s Headlines….

Perhaps some people may be triggered by the words 'sex workers', especially as it still remains a rather taboo subject for quite a few folks, even in this day and age.

LOL I love the 'enclosed leaflet' Pain. So pretty much the same prescription we've been having for decades?

Yes indeed, Fishy. No matter which brand, it still eventually ends up being a bitter pill we have to swallow....

Yes, a work of true genius!

But kind of sums up many people's fickle tendencies in general, not just concerning politics but pretty much most other things in life.
