Man Falls From Cliff

Graham Skirrel has been named as the man who fell while trying to climb Sir Cliff Richard. Mr Skirrel of the Wirral faces charges of trespassing on an ancient monument. When asked by police why he had done it, Mr Skirrel replied “Because he was there.” This is not Mr Skirrel’s first offence of climbing a celebrity without consent. He has been prosecuted on three separate occasions, when he was caught scaling Benny Hill, rappelling down Peggy Mount and admiring the view from Maxine Peake.

I purchased the Daily Mail newspaper today. Why is it so different to the online trash? It's not a bad read, and is cheaper than the £2.30 Times, and the overpriced Guardian.

By some quirk of fate, I seem to have seen various TV news channels several times recently. I noticed they present a sort of rundown of Covid stats each day.

Do they still do 'Jobwatch', a rundown of jobs stats that was commonplace back in the 80s and early 90s when the overall unemployment rates were sky high, plus reinstated in the late 2000s during the GFC?
