The NHS is really in the shield if it’s giving money to Babylon Health, few health professionals support its AI unless they are invested in it. My wife, a health professional, listed off a dozen problems with it when a documentary aired earlier this year

Spain doubles down on it's handling of the Catalonian referendum.

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-europe-49974289

What do they expect after imprisoning them for something that should be resolved in a more reasonable manner? They are lucky they aren't experiencing terrorism. The sentences are bad enough but the prosecutors aiming for 25 years it's like they consider them terrorists.

There may have been fault on both sides but the Spanish government knew what they were doing when they amended their constitution to effectively lock them out from any future referendum. Some Catalans wanted a vote even to stay as part of Spain and some said they didn't try to vote because they saw it as an illegal referendum but many do want it and do want a voice on independence.

Having political prisoners is hardly a good look. Even Belgium and Germany stood in their way as they tried to get their hands on the leader of the referendum who is still in exile in Belgium. The policing of the whole affair was a disgrace played out through the media where we saw heavy mob police out in force.

Lets hope this is overturned by the ECHR.

Since this there have been riots and groups storming government buildings. Fires too.

There is a vid clip floating around of 2 Spanish police beating an old man to the ground with several hits whilst civilians come to his aid. No wonder there is so much dislike of the government.

It's sad to see racism rearinf it's head in football again. It's never gone and we have had (still have) plenty of our own but the attitude of the Bulgarian coach (unlike the captain who tried to calm the fans) was unbelievable. If we can hear it through the TV you can definately hear it no matter how "focussed" on the game you are:

Heavier sanctions needed on that side.

Some good news that has come about from the Stormont deadlock at least.

    https://www.msn.com/en-gb/news/uknew...cid=spartanntp

The UK government will bring in alignment to our laws regarding legal abortion and same-sex marriage.

The DUP oppose it strongly calling it "extreme liberalisation" Dinosaurs.

Perhaps we should enter into urgent negotiations with the Vogons...?

I hear you guys might be having your faces scanned if you want to access online porn:

For it to work does your pic have to match your driving licence/passport for the match? Will that mean they will need to be more like...

I would recommend eating a hot chip before going into the booth.

It's a fantastic opportunity to catch out some MP's though Our government has finally cancelled our "Porn Pass", I guess the thought of them having to pop into their local newsagent to buy one put them off? Just imagine asking for that at the ciggie counter in your local supermarket and them getting on the tannoy because they have ran out
