    Pain that moves around IBS?

    Looking for some reassurance please!!

Ive had IBS for many years. But each flare-up plays havoc with my HA.

If the pain moves around, sometimes upper abdomen, below ribs, sometimes lower right and sometime mid section, would this confirm that its IBS?

I have high anxiety and I do believe the pain and anxiety fuel each other, but I can't seem to get out of the loop.

My IBS pain moves around in all the places you’ve mentioned ,sometimes even though to the back.
From what I read on other forums if the pain travels it’s a good sign .
I understand what you mean with each flare up HA rises, mines stool shapes at the moment never checked them before now I’m checking each time and since yesterday I’ve been getting wide ribbon like stools which has me in a total frenzy and the doctor hasn’t even batted a eyelid when I mentioned this.
