It's about time I joined a new club..

So here I am!

I'm in my thirties and have suffered from generalised anxiety disorder and panic attacks the past couple of years. Before that I've had more occasional panics going back to my teens, a couple of ambulance trips to a&e and a lot of tears and upset in the process.

For me a lot of the underlying causes are a fear of death and healh anxiety linked to a serious illness I had as a kid. My current job isn't helping at all, I've done some CBT therapy work so things have been much better the past few months.

That being said I'm struggling this morning, had zero sleep due to work-related anxiety so thought now would be a good time to join the forum, get some support and support others too.
