hi again,
I think citalopram can go up to 40mgs so if after a month your are struggling a little you could ask for an increase.

I take the good with the bad, Smile with the sad, Love what I got, And remember what I had.
Always forgave, But never forgot,
Learned from my mistakes, But never regret.

I was. My max dosage was 20mg a day. I was on it for about 9-10 months and I refused point blank to go on it at first. But I did and it was fine......
It helped me level myself out - not cured me but certainly helped to enable me to start building my life back up and give me strength again.
thanks everyone for your replies tc elaine
Hey,
My GP said that it can take up to 6 months for the full effect to be felt. Also, you probably won't be aware of how much better you feel - he reckons that the best people to ask about improvement are those around you.
Good luck!
