Left sided stomach pains feel about like a stitch

Hi there

Feeling really anxious about these stitch like pains I keep getting in my stomach on the left, some days better than others, I’ve not been right with my stomach now for over a month.

Been to my docs about this and they’ve felt my stomach said felt ok and ran some bloods which all came back ok apart from the CRP which was 56 and should be under 10, it was checked again 2 days later and was 19 so that was better, they want me to get it checked again in 3 weeks, they thought it was raised more to do with my sore throat than stomach related.

The doctor prescribed Omoperazole for acid reflux which I was unsure about! And said possibly IBS

Since then though I’ve got a chest infection and been given antibiotics really feeling under the weather!

Anyone else have they annoying left side pain.

Hi Jayne,

Sorry to hear that you’ve been having a rough time of things, have you been taking the Omoperazole? Reflux really can cause all sorts of discomfort, as can IBS unfortunately I’m overly familiar with both.

Thanks for the reply, I’ve not taken the omoperazole for 2 days while I’m taking the antibiotics as they say not to take with acid reducing drugs, I’m feeling panicky about stomach cancer or some other sort of cancer ��

Yes Jaynehal.

I think it's constipation. Also had in my left groin too and our waste travels through the left-hand side of our body.
But I do suffer with acid reflux too.
Just didn't want you to think you were the only one.
