Sweating as a side effect from Sertraline?

    Hello All

I am hoping someone may be able to help me. I am currently cross tapering off a TCA anti depressant and onto sertraline. The anxiety I was having did bring some sweating when I woke in a morning, however since starting sertraline, the sweating is whenever I go for a walk and when in bed at night, it seems that my whole body is sweating and clammy but I am cold if I throw the covers off me. It could be hormonal I suppose but it seems strange that it has only happened since starting sertraline.

Has anyone else had sweating as a side effect? The mental health nurse I see said that it shouldn't be that?!

Absolutely a side effect of sertraline. Give it a few weeks, it should go.

Thanks....it has started to go now. It is just good to normalise it.
