Hard lump on top of head, it's cancer?

So last year I found that I have this hard/bony, painless lump on top of my head and it freaked me out, but soon forgot about it since my attention diverted into more serve symptoms. Now, ever since this past week, I've been worrying about dying (due to one of my family member recently passed away and one of my friend said as a joke that I'm going to die in 2 years and I took it as a sign) and started to look for any signs of me having any form of illness. Then I started to feel the same hard lump that I felt last year and started to fear about having some type of bone or skin cancer. I don't want to google my symptoms anymore because it would just make me more anxious, and nobody would believe me if I tell them please help.

Youre just hypersensitive at the moment because of your family bereavement. Your friend, well people say all sorts of stuff, it means absolutely nothing. Words are powerless. Unless of course they can see into the future in which case ask for the lottery numbers, because you will certainly be around to spend it
