Is it normal to experience breathlessness occasionally?

The last couple days I've been experiencing breathlessness. I will be talking to someone and I will need to get my breath otherwise I end up running out of breath. I guess it's shortness of breath.

It isn't like the shortness of breath that's experienced with a panic attack, but more catching my breath sometimes. Another issue is I am very overweight after putting on an extra couple stone. Maybe this has contributed to it. I don't know.

    Has anybody else experienced this?

Anxiety makes it common, weight makes it worse.

    And vice versa.
