Thats a great idea, how did they implement it though ?On a poetry site I once frequented, they had a rule whereby you commented on three poems by other members for every one of your own poems posted. It worked quite well?

I seem to remember if anyone wasn't keeping to the rule they were reminded of their obligations via PM. Though perhaps writing a poem is more time consuming than simply posting support, depending of course upon the nature and depth of the post. I've just looked at the unanswered threads and feel pretty bad :-(

Gosh, that does sound quite laboursome 'policing it', but the philosophy would be useful here - you give and you take.
I'd be buggered unless I could away with a few limericks? If we that rule on here I can think of few people who would be swamping the boards with advice for others

Perhaps when answering the threads where the poster doesn't venture outside of themselves, we should include the link to this thread.

From a Tapatalk point of view I can’t see unanswered posts, only unread, new, participated and subscribed.
I do try to look at the new posts when I am on, but if I don’t have a lot of time I’ll only read participated.

Guys/Gals - I know you are all having a laugh and I don't want to be the bad cop but the original thread had good intention and meaning and it is in a prominent forum that people may read and it has got a bit rude for some to handle.
I am happy to copy the thread to misc forum and let you carry on and delete the replies from here but I just worry that some reading this could be a bit offended (I am not) and I know it was done in good fun etc. but the original point has kind of being lost.
I hope you understand.

Absolutely fine, I had kinda forgotten how this whole thread started to be honest, it meadered totally off course......sorry. Yes, maybe you should take these last replies off thinking about it and leave it to be what it was - unanswered threads.
