Okay first of all I have very bad health anxiety and have for most of my life but it’s only gotten worse I think since I was pregnant with my son 2 years ago. A couple weeks ago I started thinking about rabies again when I thought my son might have gotten bit by the neighbors dog. Even though he said he hadn’t and I didn’t see any bites on him, the fear still persisted. Now that I know he’s clear from that since the dog is still fine, I can’t shake this rabies fear. Now today I saw a skunk in the road dead and pretty sure I avoided it but thought what if I got some of the carcass or blood/saliva on the tires and now it’s on the driveway. My kids walked on the driveway and possibly tracked it in on their shoes....I know it just sounds totally crazy but as most of you know that’s how anxiety works. I guess I just need reassurance that my anxiety is trying to get he best of me. 😔
