    i was hoping that as time passed on this it would bet better but tbh, i get a few days of start of each up dose then it goes to hell.

    tbh i always felt better on the lowest dose of escitalopram and citalopram ie2mg escitaloptram and 5 mg of citalopram

    No, but "manic agitated and apathetic just generally insane and hopeless," are symptoms/emotions your psychiatrist really needs to be aware of.

    Did you take such low doses for long periods with success, and if so why did you stop?

    I've always found that less is more with ADs. I'm on the agitation end so could never tolerate the activating SSRIs. I have been hospitalised as a result of being on too high a dose so I know what agitation signifies for me.

    My shrink just ignores me and says its just the way i am. She told me to f off the other week trying to be jovial, but i just dont feel heard by her

    Then why is she prescribing meds if she thinks you are making a big deal out of your symptoms? And why have you been on so many meds with little success?

    It's all very well prescribing and not offering a follow-up appointment for months but this is no way to monitor potent drugs.
