I'm sorry you feel that way but you will not be abandoned. Sometimes we have to fight our way to get the help we need. Even if we think we are seen as a 'problem customer/frequent flyer'

Hope you start to feel yourself again and get the help you require

Sounds promising. If your friend is now retired he will have started before the SSRI/SNRI age so will have a broader range of experience than many current psychiatrists and GPs do.

Consultant mentioned Duloxetine and also mentioned clomipramine. she believes i have agitated depression. but a bit early to tell. she also recommends i stay plugged into nhs as they have 24 support. she will contact me later. i was on clomipramine before got up to 40 mg but she said t isn't enough.

I have a diagnosis of agitated depression-it's not an easy thing to cope with.

The adult therapeutic dose range is 100-250mg. Can you remember why you stopped at 40mg?
