"Cut" during pap smear - chance of infection?

I went for my first routine pap smear yesterday, the nurse wasn't able to complete it, since the first speculum (I think?) she used gave me huge discomfort, and made me bleed a little. (She said since I'm not currently sexually active I'm not a high risk etc and told me to practise with tampons etc and come back in a few months)
I'm just a bit worried that I'll get some kind of infection since I got cut or something (and I bled a little). After I left her room I went to the bathroom and cleaned myself with a wet tissue, but then I had to go to work and wasn't able to shower until a few hours later. I have slight discomfort today but nothing too bad. Is there a risk I could get an infection?

Your vagina is very good at self cleaning that’s what it’s designed for I have I’ve had cuts on my vulva mega painful but I have vulvodynia so I maybe more sensitive they did give me steroid cream but that was to help it heal quicker and it kept stinging when I peed and not due to any risk of infection x
