Been called for ultrasound much sooner than I was told

I suppose all I can do is ring them tomorrow and hope that I get through to someone, because I know these departments are not opened all the time.

I'm assuming that if something bad showed up on the biopsy then they need to do an ultrasound to get more information on what it is.
I'm going to ring them later this morning.
I'm up half the night worrying about this, I really don't think it's a good sign

I can't stop thinking the worst. I've had a look at the appointment letter again and it also says that along with performing the ultrasound, they may also perform a transvaginal scan. I think they only use the word "may" because they say it won't be performed without a patients consent. And it doesn't take very long.

I was also given a copy of the letter that the hospital where I had the hysterosocopy sent to the hospital where I will have the ultrasound. And they said in the letter that they took an endometrial biopsy and will arrange for me to have an ultrasound when they get the results of that.
So that's why I'm really scared. Did they see something on the biopsy results that is making them bring the ultrasound forward?
And why are they also performing a transvaginal scan? I'm certain she never mentioned that the last day.

My letter for an ultrasound said exactly the same thing.

When I had my biopsy and something bad showed up, they never did an ultrasound again, the biopsy told them everything.

I'm so sorry something bad showed up in your ultrasound. I'm assuming it was cancer, which is terrifying me now because I have the same symptoms that you had - heavy periods and clotting.

It was grade 1 endometrial cancer, which is highly curable and usually only surgery is needed (I'm having a hysterectomy June 4th). My first ultrasound showed a thickened lining, which is why I had the hysteroscopy. My only symptoms were extremely heavy bleeding that lasted a while and came on and off, and also huge clots, sometimes the size of my palm. I have also had untreated PCOS for 20 years, which is why my lining built up. So if you didn't have a thickened lining on your ultrasound I wouldn't even worry about the same diagnosis as me. There are so many benign issues for heavy bleeding and clots.

When you had heavy bleeding, was it your periods were heavy or was it bleeding between periods? Or have you gone through the menopause - sorry, I don't know what age group you are in.
It's my periods are heavy, no in between bleeding so far.
And my last ultrasound was nearly 3 years ago. I assume I didn't have thickening of the lining then because I was told everything was ok
