    Straining lead to aneurysm?

    Hi all.

I was just cutting sweet potatoes and crushing garlic with a garlic crusher...but when I was straining to cut the potato (which was rock hard) I felt this sudden weird sensation in my chest, kind of like heart palpitations and almost some weeziness... I am now worried I have ruptured something or done some damage...eg an aneurysm or something....
    Could this be a possibility?
    Thanks in advance

Think about it, if straining led to aneurysms, most of the worlds population wouldn't exist

Even if it did, you'd probably go years - even decades, depending on size - without noticing a thing.

There's no "even if it did" here
