    Post Your Coping Mechanism

When extreme anxiety kicks in for me just doing something helps massively, even simple things like playing online pool helps a lot, There's one crucial thing i am noticing though, lack of sleep makes anxiety 10x worse! and drinking coffee on top of no sleep is a very big no-no.

I slept for only 3 hours last night, and today i'm suffering for it, i haven't been feeling too bad until today, so it seems lack of sleep makes everything worse!

    Paul.

Lack of sleep definitely makes it worse, sometimes a lot worse.

Your suggestion is about as good as it gets tbh. Just don't focus on it and let it happen.

I find watching Tipping Point is remarkably effective. Do something banal and repetitive. Meditate, controlled breathing from time to time. Slow walking to burn off some adrenaline. Self mantra's. All add up to calm the CNS.

    I LOVE tipping point!

I try not to go down that rabbit hole when it kicks in, i try my best to ignore it if i can.
