Can anyone help or offer some insight? I have an extremely sharp pain in my side/ribcage, right under my chest. It feels very much like a stabbing pain, not muscular in any way. It lessened for an hour or so, but has since returned and not stopped. The pain is also in my right shoulder blade. I don't have a gallbladder, so I know it's not that. I am trying to be better about not going to an urgent care for something that may be very minor-- Does anyone know what this could be? I have a fear blood clots due to a birth control pill I am on...pancreatitis was another thing that came to mind, but no other symptoms. Has this happened to any of you? I do realize health anxiety doesn't make the situation any better, so again, I am trying to hold off on a doctor and give it a little more time...
